If I won the lottery I would place the entirety, minus any debts into a perpetuity account with lifetime payments and never work again except for what I want to do for fun or enrichment. You can do this with a million dollars or half a mil. This would ensure my child be set up for life after I die as well. It will also allow me to avoid any stupid excess spending or something. And if I had millions, I would start my own charity and do this as my full time job. My focus would be to assit the homeless populations and those living with food scarcity. I would also invest in my local businesses as long as they agree to work with the charity as well.
But you do you. Best luck and all bets are off.

Very intelligent response.

I’d have to say I’d pay off all of my debt first, travel to see my family (they all live far from me) share some $ with each of my children and their families and the rest goes to charity. Homeless is a big problem everywhere. There should be better systems in place to operate a rehab for the homeless. Get them a place to live, food, clothing, retraining and education. Without these things how can anyone survive? This would be a worthy charity especially in the cold areas of the United States.
