Chocolate Cherry Cake Cookies

This is so sweet I deem it the reason I got engaged… be warned they may be too powerful. Jokes aside, it contains chocolate chips, cookies, and candied cherries. It is too sweet to have more than one in my opinion.

Here is how to make them:

Ingredients:

1 Box of cake mix

150-200g of butter (1.25-1.5 sticks of butter)

2-3 eggs depending on size

5-6 cookies depending on which you choose ( I used Oreos)

1 cup chocolate chips (50g)

A handful of candied cherries or caramels

3 small candy bars or one large (chopped)

Teaspoon of salt

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C)
2. Mix the batter together until it is soft and smooth evenly mixed.
3. Roll the dough into balls and place on a baking sheet evenly spaced.
4. Bake for 8-11 minutes ( I do 9 minutes because I like them a little softer)
5. Leave to cool on a plate or cooling rack.
