Are you superstitious?

I would say as a general answer no. However, most superstitions came about because someone noticed a trending theme. For example, if you get cold and shiver, they might say that you had a close call to death just now. This could be from illness they had seen back in the days before medicine. If you got cold and didn’t get sick, you got lucky because if you had gotten sick you could die.

And so finally in the words of Michael Scott, “I am not superstitous, but I am a little stitious.”
